This is not a CANA marriage retreat.  Open to all adults.

Members of Chemin Neuf NYC and International (CANA’s founding community) will host this weekend retreat for adults (couples and/or individuals) where together we will explore and experience the Spirit's offer of friendship, joy and forgiveness in community.  

Arrival:  5pm Friday, November 10

Departure: 3pm Sunday, November 12

San Damiano Retreat Center, Danville, California

Individual:

- Single occupancy room:  $360

- Double occupancy room: $330

Couple: 

- Double occupancy room: $630  

All adults 18+ welcome (No childcare provided).

$100 Deposit due upon registration

CANA Week is a week-long retreat for couples at Hartstone Bible Camp in Northern California. Take time away to strengthen your marriage and deepen your spiritual life. The week includes teachings, prayer, time together as a couple, fun, relaxation and celebration! Concurrent program for children included. For additional information, see CANA Week.

Foundations for an Enduring Love

Can our love not only last but grow, mature and deepen, and bear the fruit of freedom and joy? Join us for this weekend “commuter” marriage retreat to explore ways to sustain and go deeper in our love for each other, acknowledging the struggle and celebrating the beauty.

This weekend we will explore this topic together with our spouse through teaching, dialogue as a couple, prayer & worship, and in the good company of other couples.  

This is a 2-day commuter retreat. Couples should attend both days.

• Saturday, February 4 9:30am - 7:30pm

• Sunday, February 5 1:00pm - 7:30pm

• Cost $175/Couple (estimate)

• Childcare Available

We all believe in a healthy work life balance, at least theoretically.  But discerning what that looks like is usually a solo project.  This weekend we will explore this topic together with our spouse through teaching, dialogue as a couple, prayer & worship, and in the good company of other couples.

• Registration fee: $200 (will be applied towards total cost)

• COVID-19 mitigation plan: All participants 16+ are asked to be fully vaccinated to attend. Youth 12-15 encouraged to be vaccinated (not required). Each couple/family will have their own private lodgings, although bathrooms are communal. Current CDC guidelines will be adhered to and CANA Week subject to cancellation if CDC guidelines require.

Join us for a “commuter” weekend where we will explore ways to invite the care and nurture of God's love more deeply into our marriages and learn the valuable practice of praying together as a couple.  The weekend includes teachings, prayer, time together as a couple, and plenty of good food and fellowship with other couples.

• Saturday, May 16, 2020 - 9:00am to 8:30pm, Lunch and Dinner included

• Limited childcare available

Explore together the theme of decision-making as a couple, stumbling blocks and potential avenues to greater unity and common vision. A focused time to talk in depth with each other and enjoy the company of other couples in a peaceful setting away from home.
